High Sun Split Shorts

Lightweight split shorts with integrated storage in the waistband. 

The fabric is made from plant oil.

Designed for running, but can be used for all kinds of movements.

Design intentions

“We wanted to create the perfect fitting running shorts. The pair you instantly reach for and never want to take off. It should have no restriction to your movement and give a second skin feel.  It was important that the pocket was placed above the hips to avoid contact with the booty which would create movement. It should be easy to access the pocket while running and slide your gear into.”

Features & Benefits

Shorts

• Loose outer shorts in ultra lightweight 55g/2 fabric, gives a feeling of wearing nothing. 

• Bonded hems to reduce weight and give a clean technical look.  

• High curved split to eliminate restriction in movement and creates flattering lines across the thighs.

• Split opening is finished with a horizontal stitch to ensure there are limits to how much skin you show. Reinforced with an overlay film for durability. 

• Elasticated waistband with thin and flat 6mm drawcord to keep shorts locked where you prefer.

• Back darts for a nice fit across the booty.

• Reflective “rytme” branding  for visibility

Waistband 

• Waistband construction in interlock jersey fabric to give a snug and secure fit.

• Integrated storage in the whole back part of the waistband positioned above the hips to prevent objects from bouncing while you move. Storage space is designed to fit smaller phones (phone13mini & 14) along with gels and supply.

• Easy to slide supply in/out of pocket with bonded pocket openings in the right and left side. No zipper, making it great for pre/post stretching on the floor as well. 

• Secure key storage with S-biner placed inside the pocket on your right side, attached with an elastic string, making it possible to unlock a door without removing your keys from the hook. 

Briefs

• Ultra lightweight and soft briefs inside the shorts with reversed seams to eliminate chafing and give security for full coverage.

Plantica Flow, ultra lightweight 55g/m ripstop fabric made from plant oil extruded from the plant Ricinus communis. Made in Japan.

Waistband:

80% PA (biological origin) / 20% EA.

Plantica Stretch, 175g/m Interlock fabric made from plant oil extruded from the plant Ricinus communis and Elastane to give you streeeeetch. Made in Italy.

Briefs:

100% PA (virgin fossil based*) 

This fabric is made on the finest warp knit machines in the world. This fabric provides an unparalleled comfort and softness. Made in Belgium. 

*Unfortunately the yarn used to make this fabric is made from virgin fossil fuel and we are searching for a more sustainable alternative for future collections. 

Trims

Elastic (30mm wide) inside waistband. 23% EA / 77 % PA. Made in italy 

Drawcord (6mm wide) at waistband. 7 % EA / 84% PA / 9% PES. Made in Italy

S-biner. Material: ABS Resin / Stainless steel. Made in China

Elastic string (3mm) for S-biner. 40% PES /  60% EL. Made in Italy
