Plantica Stretch

175g/m Interlock fabric made from plant oil extruded from the plant Ricinus communis and Elastane to give you streeeeetch.

Plantica Stretch is used in the High Sun Split Shorts, High Sun Short Tights and High Sun Sports Bra.

This fabric is primarily made from oil extruded from the seeds of the plant Ricinus Communis and has a 25% reduction in Greenhouse Gas emissions compared to standard polyamide. The raw material is 10% lighter in specific weight, yet still offering a great stretch and recovery of the fabric, making it perfect for tights and sports bras. The yarn is naturally quick drying, breathable and with odor control. 

*The remaining 20% is Elastane to give you stretch. We have not found a fossil free elastane available for commercial use but we are expecting it to be available from 2026.
